El sábado 27 de Mayo se realizó la salida complementaria de Croquiseros Urbanos de Buenos Aires a la ciudad de Capilla del Señor, Provincia de Buenos Aires. Como la mayoría de las salidas complementarias, la jornada fue completa.
Cuando el GO mandó el aviso, revise los puntos de interés y no vi nada muy cautivador para dibujar.
Ya en el 2º aviso y con información ampliada, avisaban que por la mañana habría autos clásicos en la plaza con motivo de una carrera que se realizaría por la tarde. El panorama para mí cambió por completo. Igualmente la salida no me la iba a perder. Más allá del hecho concreto del dibujo, siempre es muy grato compartir experiencias con colegas.

On Saturday, May 27, a complementary Croquiseros Urbanos de Buenos Aires outing took place in Capilla del Señor City, Buenos Aires Province. Like most of the complementary activities,this was all day long.
When the board sent the details of the journey, I check for the points of interest and did not see anything very captivating to draw.
Then, in the 2nd e-mail and with expanded information, they warned that in the morning there would be classic cars in the city’s central square, because of a race that would take place in the afternoon. The picture for me changed completely. Even I was not going to loose the outing. Beyond the concrete fact of the drawing, it is always very pleasant to share experiences with fellow sketchers.
Gracias a Magda que nos llevó en el auto a Ale y a mi, pude hacer este primer croquis durante el viaje.

El tema del día fue el frío! Al estar sentado, inmóvil dibujando realmente se lo sentía.
A la hora de la cita, 10 en punto de la mañana, llegamos casi con precisión Inglesa. A medida que pasaban los minutos más y más croquiseros se fueron sumando. Creo que terminamos siendo alrededor de 70!
Luego de ayudar a Sandro con temas organizativos ya era tiempo de empezar a dibujar. De los autos clásicos todavía no había ni noticias.
A lo lejos, todavía con escarcha en los vidrios estaba el Rastrojero medio destartalado, estacionado enfrente de la parada de colectivos. Fui directo hasta ahí y me puse a dibujar.

The theme of the day was the cold! As being sitting, motionless, drawing , one can really felt it.
At the time of the appointment, 10 o'clock in the morning, we arrived almost with English precision. As the minutes passed, more and more sketches arrived. I think we ended up being around 70!
After helping Sandro with organizational issues, it was time to start drawing. There was still no news from the classic cars.
In the distance, still with frost on the glass was the half-beaten Rastrojero, parked in front of the bus stop. I went straight there and started to draw.
Cuando ya estaba terminando con el Rastrojero empezaron a llegar los AUTOS. Era realmente un delirio: Porsches, Jaguars, Ferraris, Mustangs, un Miura y varios más.
Apure con la chata que me había hecho el aguante y fui directo a ver mis amados Porsche. Me decidí por este 911 de 1973.
Me senté en mi banquito totalmente extasiado a volcar a mi cuaderno esas hermosas curvas que tanto me fascinan.
No me faltaba mucho para terminar cuando el dueño se sube al auto, lo prende y me avisa que se va! Le pedí que me aguante 30 segundos, termine con el guardabarros y rueda trasera en un intento desesperado por “terminar” de dibujar todo, le saque una foto y se fue. Se fueron todos! En media hora llegaron y se fueron. Quede como queda una novia esperando en el altar. Igualmente, ese ratito que pasé con el 911 valió la pena. Solo me quedo el trago amargo de quedar con las ganas de entrarle al Porsche 356 Speedster.
Cuando me recupere de su partida, me senté en el banco de la plaza para terminar el dibujo de línea del 911.

When I was finishing with the Rastrojero, the CARS began to arrive. It was really a delirium: Porsches, Jaguars, Ferraris, Mustangs, a Miura and several more.
Hurry up with the truck that had had endurance me and went straight to see my beloved Porsches. I decided on this 1973 911.
I sat down on my stool totally enthralled to dump those beautiful curves that so fascinate me into my sketchbook.
I was not far from finishing when the owner gets in the car, turns it on and tells me he's leaving! I asked him to hold me for 30 seconds, finish with the fender and rear wheel in a desperate attempt to "finish" drawing everything, I take a picture and he left. They all left! In half an hour all cars arrived and go away. I was left as a girlfriend waiting at the altar. Also, that little time I spent with 911 was worth it. I only have the bitter pill to not have enough time to draw the Porsche 356 Speedster.
When I was recovered from the leaving of those dream cars, I sat on a bench in the square to finish the line line work of the 911.
Todavía tenía un rato hasta el horario del almuerzo. Aproveche esos minutos para seguir dibujando autos, vi este Fiat Coupe 125 Sport de 1974. Está en un estado casi salido de la concesionaria, y lo que más me gusta es la cola. Ese corte abrupto, casi en un rectángulo es interesante. Me quedé un rato con la cupé hasta que se hicieron las 12:30. Hora de almorzar, y de juntar un poco de calor!

I still had a time until lunchtime. Take advantage of those minutes to continue drawing cars, I saw this Fiat Coupe 125 Sport of 1974.
It's in a state almost out of the dealership, and what I like most is the tail. That abrupt cut, almost in a rectangle is interesting. I stayed with the coupe for a while until it was 12:30. Time to have lunch, and to gather a little heat!
Luego del almuerzo decidí ir para la estación de tren local con Walter y Gonzalo. Lo primero que me llamó fueron un conjunto de silos. No terminaban de convencerme pero luego de dar unas vueltas decidí darles una oportunidad. Ya nublado y cayendo la tarde, estaba temblando del frío. Como un verdadero croquisero, resistí las inclemencias hasta que termine mi croquis con acuarelas y todo en el lugar. Ya era la hora de la Expo en la plaza central.

After lunch I decided to go to the local train station with Walter and Gonzalo. The first thing that called my attention was a set of silos. They did not convince me at all, but after a round to the station I decided to give the silos a chance. Already cloudy and falling afternoon,it was really the cold.
As a true sketcher, I resisted the inclemency until I finished my sketch with watercolors and everything in the place. It was time for the Expo in the central square.
Uno de los mejores momentos de las salidas es el ritual croquisero de poner todos los trabajos en el piso y ver la producción de la fecha. Realmente me gusta ver lo que hacen mis colegas. Sobre todo porque ves los trabajos originales, recién cocinados :)
Luego de la foto conjunta de rigor, volvoimos a Dulcinea a tomar un café y dar cierre a la maravillosa jornada croquisera.
Y vuelta a casa con Walter.

One of the best moments of the outings is the sketcher ritual to put all the works on the floor and see the production of the date. I really like to see what my colleagues do. Especially because you see the original works, freshly cooked :)
After the group photo of rigor, we went back to Dulcinea to have a coffee and to close a wonderful sketching journey.
And back home with Walter.
It has been a beautiful day !!!
