On Saturday 11/10/14 took place the #38 Croquiseros Urbanos de Buenos Aires outing to the City Museum.
After a brief introduction about the Museum, it´s director took us to the roof of an annex to the museum right on the corner of Defensa and Alsina Adolfo st. This building is in rebuilding stage and there are many areas under construction. After climbing three stories we reached the terrace, where there is a magnificent view of the Basilica of San Francisco. A while ago I had drawn one of the bell towers, so I did this one of the 2 towers which are separated by a sculpture where St. Francis of Assisi is surrounded by Dante Alighieri, Christopher Columbus and Giotto.
I did not want to spend two hours drawing this sketch. I decided to do it as fast as I could. I also wanted to paint it in place. Draw for 45/50 minutes with fine liners 005, 01 and 02 and watercolor for 20/30 minutes in Moleskine notebook Large.

This second sketch is a request from a friend. Knowing that I would be drawing in the Museum, he asked me to draw a dwarf. I asked Ricardo Pinal Villanueva, director of the museum about the dwarves and told me they were stored, but after a few rounds around the first floor, on a patio this example was there, alone… Drawn for 20 minutes and watercolours for 30 more minutes. Later added the text at home. With Lamy fountain pen with EF nib with water resistant ink on Moleskine sketchbook large.
