El sábado 7/6 hicimos una salida con Urban Sketchers Argentina a la Iglesia Santa Felicitas gracias a la recomendación de Ana Sapia.
Un dia realmente horrible, lluvioso y frio. Pero con un poco de suerte a la tarde salió el sol.
El lugar es ideal para dibujar, aparte de la belleza de la iglesia, enfrente está la Plaza Colombia que le da una excelente perspectiva al templo. No llegamos a aprovechar las vistas desde la plaza, por el frio que hacia preferimos sentarnos al sol.
El primer croquis lo hice desde la esquina, me gusto el fuerte escorzo en que quedaba todo el frente. Y decidí dibujar las 2 agujas y campanario al centro. Me gusta el recorte que da contra el cielo.
Para el segundo me senté frente al acceso para hacer otro croquis mirando hacia arriba, esta vez centrado en la fachada. Me gustaba el contraste de la simetría de la arquitectura iluminada desde la izquierda, ya que los claros y oscuros no son iguales a ambos lados.

On Saturday 6/7 took place an Urban Sketchers Argentina outing to St. Felicitas Church, thanks to the recommendation of Ana Sapia.
A really horrible, rainy and cold day. But with a little luck in the afternoon the sun came out.
The place is ideal for drawing, apart from the beauty of the church, is opposite to Plaza Colombia that gives an excellent perspective to the temple. We did not take advantage of the views from the plaza because of the cold, instead we prefer to sit in the sun.
The first sketch I did from the corner, I liked the strong foreshortening of the whole front. And I decided to draw 2 spires and bell tower at the center. I liked too much the cut against the sky.
For this second I sat in front of the access to do another sketch looking up, this time focusing on the facade. I liked the contrast of the symmetry of the architecture lit from the left, as the light and dark areas are not equal on both sides.
